How easy is it for your customer to contact you?

WhatsApp, QR Codes and Instant Messaging have changed how we communicate in business today!

Not sure if it is the age nearly 50 but I am finding it so much more of a struggle to lose excess weight.  Recently I have received many adverts for a miracle coffee, well this is a win/win I want to lose weight and I love my coffee.  What I have noticed the adverts have one thing in common they give you their number and ask you to send them a message on WhatsApp.  Now the frustration I have is I have to add the number to my contacts to send a WhatsApp, this stops me from responding to the ad.

How much potential business are you losing because you don't make it easy for your customers to contact you?

WhatsApp, QR codes and instant messaging have become tools of choice for a lot of customers.  in our sales training we teach how important it is to make it easy for customers to engage with us.  Facebook has added  an option for you to add a WhatsApp button on your post, this makes it easier for your customer to click the button and it takes them to WhatsApp, no need to add details into contacts.  Have you noticed more and more websites have an button for WhatsApp as well?

How has WhatsApp and instant messaging made business easier?

  • Customers are busy these tools make it easy to communicate.
  • Customers expect answers and information quickly.
  • These tools are less invasive then a phone call.
  • Businesses can now set up catalogues and information on WhatsApp business.

QR Codes change how we create links

When we think of QR codes we think of Zapper or Snapscan.  QR codes are now being used to create links to products on your website or to the website.

I noticed that more and more people wanted to move away from printed business cards.  It is a waste of printing costs and they get thrown away or if you change your information you now have business cards you can't use.  Using the QR code your customers can quickly scan the QR code and download your business card making it so easy to store your information.

The way we do business has changed and especially in the past year, embrace the change and investigate how you can add these tools in making communication easier with your potential customers.

A Website that Attracts Attention

In researching how to build a website that attracts attention most of the articles I read explain the design side.  Making sure you keep it simple, use contrast, show emotion and the list goes on.  What I was really looking to answer is how can I design a website for an Entrepreneur that does not just look like a template that everyone else is using . Use Personalised Pictures  I remember having my first meeting with Peggy from VIP Visas ( www.vipvisas.co.za ) at a coffee shop.  We spoke about the possible visas she could help people with the countries that she had dealt with.  As we spoke we soon realised there was more to just helping a person with a visa it is the guidance and walking along side someone that is overwhelmed going through is process.   I thought back to when my husband and I went overseas, the painful experience of applying for our visas.  We could have as so many other visa companies have done, sell the destinations they can issue visas for or as we did we went with

How has SEO changed over time? Introducing Voice SEO

In our home we have a standard joke, “just go google”.  As our girls got older their math's and general homework become increasingly more difficult, I would send them with their questions to my husband.  Well, I thought he is a software developer he understands logical issues more than me.  The standard answer they would get from him and still is “have you googled?”. I am not sure what we did before google.  Introduction In 2016 there was a significate switch, seeing mobile and tablet usage exceeding desktop for the first time.  According to Forrester, 82% of consumers are using mobile devices to help make a product decision. As more people are rather using mobile devices for their searches, programs like Google Now, Siri, and Cortana become more popular the way we are doing these searches has changed over the years.   Voice searches have grown dramatically.   Apparently In 2020 more than 50% of all searches were done by voice searches.
